Instant Payments
You can now make Instant Payments into your Killik account, directly from the app.
Watch the video below for an easy guide on what an instant payment is and how to make an instant payment.
To make an Instant Payment, please complete the following steps:
Step one: log in to your myKillik app.
Step two: Select 'Account' in the bottom right, then select 'Make Payments'.
Step three: Select the Instant Payment option as shown below.
Step four: Enter the payment amount that you would like to make to your Killik account. The minimum amount is £100 and the maximum is £20,000 within one day (these rates may vary depending on who you bank with).
Step five: Click 'Make Payment' and tap to ‘Proceed’ to make your payment.
Step six: Once you have selected 'Make Payment' you will be taken through to our secure partner TrueLayer to authorise the payment in your banking app. Once you have authorised the payment with your banking provider you will be redirected back through to the myKillik app (please note you can only make a payment from the bank account you have registered with Killik & Co).
Your payment is now complete, and you will be presented with a Success message. If your payment encounters an error, please try again later, or contact our support team at clientsupport@killik.com.
To view your Payment Activity, select 'In-App Payment Activity' at the bottom of the page. There will be a pink dot here to indicate if you have any pending payments. A pending payment is a payment that has been successfully made but is in the process of being reconciled to your Killik account.
This will take your through to your full payment history and will show any pending or past payments. To view further details of any of these payments, simply tap the selected payment.
Please note, there may be restrictions or limitations on Instant Payments for your banking provider. For more information see our Instant Payments FAQs, or to check if your bank account has any limitations or conditions click here.
Pull to refresh your data
We have now introduced ‘Pull to Refresh’ throughout the app, which will allow you to refresh your myKillik data across the app in real time.
To refresh any page simply pull down on the page to show the loading symbol, as shown below. Once you let go, the page and information on it will refresh where updated information is available.
ISA & SIPP enhancements
You can now request to open or transfer an ISA or a SIPP with us from within the app.
To view this feature, log in to your myKillik app, and select 'Account' in the bottom right corner. You will then see the option to click into ISA or SIPP.
If you already have an ISA or a SIPP with us the page will show the products you have open, for your own account and any other accounts you have access to, and a further drill down. See the below example of an open ISA.
If you have a SIPP with us but have not contributed to it, you will see the below page.
If you do not have an ISA or a SIPP with us, you will instead see the below page. If you would like to open either a new ISA/ or new SIPP with us, or transfer an existing one into Killik, simply click the corresponding button. You will then see a confirmation pop up. By clicking confirm a message will be sent directly to your adviser.
